The Old Ottawa East neighborhood is bordered by the Canal to the north and west, and the Rideau River to the east. Riverdale Avenue and Main Street tends to be the southern border of this neighborhood.

OOE has a special place in Precision’s history, as the owner, Kent Peddie lived on Glenora Street for 7 years. Sally continues to enjoy visits to St. Paul’s University!

Snow clearing is very challenging in Old Ottawa East as the city snow ridge formations are very unpredictable. City graders may be in full force in every neighborhood adjacent to Old Ottawa East, but we will see no sign of them at all! This pattern has been observed for over a dozen years. As a result, our skid-steer operators have a very demanding job as they never know when they will have to revisit their properties to remove the city snow ridge. Despite this inconvenience, Old Ottawa East is a wonderfulneighborhood in which to work and we love it very much!

The western portion of our service area is bordered by Bronson Avenue to the west, the Rideau River to the south, the Rideau Canal to the north, and Riverdale Street/Main Street to the east.

Our staff have cleared snow with our Bobcat skid-steers in Old Ottawa South since 1997. Walk behind snowblowers are used to clear downhill sloping drives and walkways.

We service the entire Glebe area which is bordered by Dow’s Lake to the west, the Rideau Canal along south and east sides, and the 417 Queensway to the North.

Our service area for the greater Centretown area, including ‘Little Italy’, Chinatown, Centertown West, and the Golden Triangle. The boundaries for this area are the ‘O’ Train to the west, the 417 Queensway to the south, the Rideau Canal to the east, and Laurier Avenue to the north.

Our skid-steer Bobcat loaders are exactly what is required to the work in these busy neighborhoods. Narrow drives, tight parking areas and limited snow stacking locations are all part of the challenge when clearing snow in Centretown! We also use plow trucks to assist with bigger parking lots, and walk behind snow blowers to clear downhill sloping drives and larger walkways.

We clear drives for single family homes, shared driveways, businesses, condominiums and churches. From Preston Street in the west and Robert Street in the east, we have been working tirelessly in Centretown since Precision first started clearing snow in 1995.

Our service in New Edinburgh also includes the Lindenlea community. It is bordered by the Ottawa River to the west, the Rideau River to the south, Beechwood Road to the east, and the approximate northern border is Rideau Terrace and Maple Lane.

New Edinburgh is definitely the most challenging area we service; in fact, it might be the most challenging area in the entire City of Ottawa! The drives are often hard to find, there are many alleys, and the city road clearing operations are very unpredictable!

Despite these extra challenges, the charming New Edinburgh neighborhood has been professionally serviced by our Bobcat skid-steer loaders and walk-behind snow blowing crews since 1995. We are continuously improving our service by using better mapping and training systems for our staff.

Our service area in Vanier is bordered by Beechwood Avenue to the north, Conventry Road to the south, St. Laurent Blvd. to the east, and the western border is the Vanier Parkway.

We have been servicing Vanier since 1995 and our clients are comprised of multiple unit buildings and small apartment buildings, businesses and single family homes.

We utilize Bobcat skid steer loaders to clear our customer’s narrow drives and tight parking areas and plow trucks are used to assist with clearing larger parking lots.
